Desmienten posible abdicación del emperador japonés

El Palacio Imperial de Japón desmintió este jueves la información publicada por el medio estatal NHK, sobre la supuesta abdicación del emperador Akihito a favor del príncipe heredero, Naruhito.

La portavoz del Palacio, Shinichiro Yamamoto, declaró que “esto no esa para nada correcto”.

Este miércoles, la cadena NHK había publicado que el emperador le informó a la familia y al Palacio que en los próximos años abdicaría, debido a su deteriorado estado de salud, por lo que prepararía a su hijo para la asunción al Trono del Crisantemo.

El emperador Akihito fue sometido a un “bypass” en 2012, sufrió un Cáncer de próstata en 2003 que le dejó secuelas de osteoporosis por la terapia hormonal que le fue prescrita.
