Ministro Marcano: Los CLAP son una política de emergencia

El ministro de Comunicación e Información, Luis José Marcano, manifestó que los Comités Locales de Abastecimiento y Producción (CLAP) obedecen a una “política de emergencia, no pretendemos nosotros que esa sea la solución estructural para el problema de abastecimiento, apostamos a que la construcción de este nuevo modelo genere correcciones significativas dentro del modelo distributivo”.

Explicó que una tonelada de alimentos distribuidos por los CLAP rinde cinco veces más que los sistemas tradicionales. “Tenemos un sistema de distribución distorsionado y pervertido, eso ha generado una distorsión de la economía del país”.

Con los CLAP se espera llegar a un 20% de la población en una primera fase para avanzar en la estabilización del sistema distributivo. “No es un tema únicamente del Gobierno o el aparato del Estado, tiene mucho que ver con el mal manejo de unos sectores vinculados a la economía”.

A su juicio la especulación es heredada del modelo rentista y las rectificaciones del Gobierno son necesarias para avanzar, pero “si el sector productivo nacional no pone de su parte es poco lo que se puede avanzar, es una tarea conjunta, hablamos de la economía mixta, dirigida por el Estado, pero una economía mixta”.
