Ministro Molina desmiente aumento de pasaje a Bs. 80 en transporte urbano

El ministro de Transporte, Ricardo Molina, rechazó este miércoles el anuncio del incremento de las tarifas del transporte urbano hecho por sectores que intentan ocasionar protestas por parte de los usuarios y señaló que esta medida forma parte de la temática que su despacho mantiene en las mesas de trabajo con los transportistas.

El ministro resaltó que en dichas mesas de trabajo además de las tarifas se levanta un registro para otorgar a aquellos trabajadores del volante distintos tipos de beneficios sociales, así como la compra de repuestos para las unidades en las proveedurías.

Molina repudió las declaraciones de Pedro Jiménez, presidente del Bloque Sur-Oeste, quien indicó que este incremento sería de 20 bolívares el 1 de noviembre y se repetiría el 1 de diciembre, cuando el pasaje llegaría a 100 bolívares.

“A partir de este martes, primero de noviembre, el costo del transporte en el Distrito Capital aumentará a Bs 80 luego de una decisión de tomada en asamblea por representantes de los cinco bloques de transportistas de la entidad”, dijo Jiménez a la emisora Unión Radio el pasado lunes.
